Troubled?

Why do we struggle so much? My guess is our lack of faith. God wants us to trust every move to Him. Look what He did for the Jews in 2 Chronicles 20:17-18- "Ye shall not need to fight in this battle: set yourselves, stand ye still, and see the salvation of the Lord with you, oh Judah and Jerusalem fear not, nor be dismayed; to morrrow, go out against them: for the Lord will be with you. And Jehosaphat bowed his head with his face to the ground: and all Judah and the inhabitants of Jerusalem fell before the Lord, worshipping the Lord." Jehosaphat had a huge problem. An army way larger than Judah's army was coming after them. It looked like they were done for. However, God wanted to show His glory. He wanted to rescue them Himself. By doing it this way, no one else could claim responsibility for the victory. But to claim the Lord's victory for them, the Jews had to have faith. They could have panicked and rushed into battle to try and head the opposing army off. They could have begged Isreal for help. But instead, they sought after the Lord. They prayed with passion and waited for God's response. God told the Jews that He would rescue them, but that they had to go and watch what He would do. The Jews had faith in God's provision. They trusted in what God said, AND followed His directions to them. If they had stayed home and waited for God to do His thing, I'm certain that God would have let Judah's enemies consume her, because of the disobedience of the people. They went to the cliff to watch God work, and He greatly rewarded them. Galatians 3:5-6- "Therefore He who supplies the Spirit to you and works miracles among you, does He do it by the works of the law or by the hearing of faith? -Just as Abraham believed God, and it was accounted to Him for righteousness." God wants to solve our problems for us. The problem is, in order to believe God, we must hear what He is saying. If we take the time to listen, He will direct our paths. Then we must have the faith to follow Him down that path at any cost. Rejoice in troubles. Thank God for an opportunity to hear His voice, follow His lead, and see His glory come. This is the path to overcoming our problems. This is the road to victory. Be resolute to place your feet upon the path and follow God's way out of it to the place of His glory shown in your life.
